    Have you pulled the carbs and cleaned them? Having to pull they choke is an indicator of carb issues. Also check the carb boots for any cracks that could be causing an air leak.

    The comp should probably be around the 150 psi mark. Pull the spark plugs, hold the throttle wide open and turn it over until the gauge stops moving.
