Default 05 380 fan hard starting cold

When cold this can be a hard sled to start. If you don't catch it on the first few pulls or if it stalls cold, you wish it had electric start, as you will be working up a sweat to get it started again. It does appear to get flooded. As spark plugs will be wet when finally I give up and pull plugs. But I have tried no choke, than 1/2, and than full. To be careful not to flood it. Just wondering if anyone has found a easy start up procedure. This has been like this since new. Seems like a weak spark issue.
    Thanks for any info.

I've noticed this with a friends 380 also, but we've just gotten used to it.

All fan cooled models seem to have this problem. The only real fix is to install a primer. Otherwise the best way I have heard of doing it is to half choke and hold the throttle open until it sort of fires, than close choke and throttle. Check the plugs when your having issues like this. New plugs each year are a must.
